Helpful Office Policies
For the convenience of our patients and our staff, Magnolia Gastroenterology Clinic, LLC & Magnolia Endoscopy Center, LLC has created a list of office policies that benefit everyone. Check out our policies below, and be sure to
contact
us if you have additional questions.
Appointments
To schedule an appointment or get answers to your questions,
call our friendly staff at 662-284-9902. Whether you are a referral patient or made the appointment yourself, we’re happy to help you!
If you can’t keep your scheduled appointment, notify us at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule so that another patient can take your time slot.
If we haven’t confirmed your appointment within 48 hours of the scheduled time, we’ll give the opening to another patient.
Phone Calls
Even though our medical staff members are often busy caring for other patients, they always have time to return your call. Even if urgent situations arise, we do our best to respond as soon as possible.
Leave your name, number, and a brief description of your reason for calling us.
If you call after hours or have an emergency, you should go to the nearest emergency medical department.
Prescription Refills
When you need medication refills that one of our providers prescribed, notify your pharmacist several
days before you run out. You may also leave a message with our staff, and we’ll reach out to you as soon as possible.
Billing and Insurance
Be sure to bring your insurance cards to your appointment so that we can make copies of them for our records. If your insurance changes, notify the office promptly and allow us to copy your new cards.
As an added courtesy, we directly file commercial insurance forms when you give us all necessary insurance information.
After receiving notification from your insurance company, we’ll bill you for the remaining balance due. Balances are due 30 days following receipt of the statement. If you are unable to pay in full, let the office know, and we’ll set up payment arrangements.
Check with your insurance company to determine whether or not you need authorization for treatment or precertification. It’s necessary that you inform our office staff about this. Failure to do so may result in nonpayment from your insurance company, and you will be responsible for any balance incurred.
If you have questions about your statements, claim forms, or payment plans,
call us at 662-284-9902.
